Upon the expiration of the period within which either an adverse claim or an adverse application may be filed against an approved application and upon the resolution of any disputed claim, the clerk shall prepare a deed conveying the land to the applicant. The deed shall be transmitted to the mayor for execution and thereafter delivered by the clerk to the applicant. Notice shall be sent to the applicant to take delivery of said deed at the office of the clerk, who shall deliver the same to the applicant if all requirements have been met and all costs including the fair market value, if required, have been paid. Duplicate originals of all executed deeds shall be kept in the office of the clerk in a permanent register entitled “Haines Tidelands Deeds” with permanent alphabetical index of grantees.
