There is established an advisory board known as the library advisory board which shall develop and enact policy regarding the collection, use and distribution of library materials, deliberate over matters concerning the construction, improvement, maintenance, use, operation, and regulation of the library department and its facilities, and make recommendations regarding these issues to the library director, manager and/or assembly. At least one member of the library advisory board shall serve on the hiring committee for library director. The library board shall review, investigate and make recommendations on any matter referred by the borough assembly or manager. (Ord. 23-09-654 § 6; Ord. 14-12-394 § 4)
