It is the general policy of the Haines Borough that its investments will be conservatively and prudently invested in marketable debt securities. It is acknowledged that investments are the property of the citizens of the Haines Borough and, therefore, agents managing investments on behalf of the borough must strive to protect and preserve principal above all else. This chapter applies to all Haines Borough investments except for the permanent fund. Chapter 3.24 HBC applies to permanent fund investments. (Ord. 07-08-164 § 4)
