Authorization to invest public funds on behalf of the borough must be granted to specific agents in the form of a resolution of the assembly recommended by the manager. Agents qualifying for authorization are elected officials of the borough, employees of the borough and registered, regulated and insured commercial investment firms contracted by the borough. A commercial investment firm so contracted may be designated the investment manager. (Ord. 07-08-164 § 4)
