A. The major subdivisions of this code shall be known as “titles.” The major subdivisions of each title shall be known as “chapters.” The major subdivisions of each chapter shall be known as “sections.” A section with a particular title and chapter shall be cited as “XX.YY.ZZZ,” where XX is the title number, YY is the chapter number, and ZZZ is the section number. Title, chapters and numbers shall be designated by Arabic numerals.

B. Sections of this code shall be further subdivided, as appropriate, into “subsections” which shall be designated by upper case letters. Subsections shall be further subdivided, as appropriate, into “paragraphs” which shall be designated by Arabic numerals. Paragraphs shall be further subdivided, as appropriate, into “subparagraphs” which shall be designated by lower case letters. Subparagraphs shall be further subdivided, as appropriate, into “sub-subparagraphs” which shall be designated by lower case Roman numerals.
