A. To provide for the systematic numbering of premises now and in the future, Main Street, for north and south numbering, shall be the division line; numbers north of Main Street shall be numerically progressive beginning with zero at Main Street and numbers south of Main Street shall be numerically progressive beginning with zero at Main Street. To arrive at numbers of premises on streets running easterly and westerly, Front Street shall be the division line, with numbers numerically progressive beginning with zero at Front Street, except that from the beginning of Young Road and proceeding north, Young Road shall be the division line, with numbers numerically progressive beginning with zero at Young Road and running easterly and westerly.

B. Each block from the division line or zero point shall bear numbers in regular numerical sequence, that is, the first block north of Main Street shall be numbered from zero to 99, the second block north of Main Street shall be numbered from 100 to 199 and so forth. The first block south of Main Street shall be numbered from zero to 99 inclusive, and the second block south of Main Street shall be numbered from 100 to 199 inclusive, and so forth. (Example: The Pioneer Bar may be issued No. 13 Second Avenue, North, and the Visitor’s Center may be issued No. 122 Second Avenue, South.) The first block west of Front Street shall be numbered progressively from zero to 99 inclusive, the second block shall be numbered progressively from 100 to 199 inclusive, and so forth. (Example: The Sheldon Museum may be issued No. 11 Main Street.) The first block east of Young Road shall be numbered progressively from zero to 99, East, inclusive, the first block west of Young Road shall be numbered progressively from zero to 99, West, inclusive, and so forth. (Example: A home on the east side of Young Road may be issued No. 2 Mathias Ave., East, and a home on the west side of Young Road may be issued 228 Mathias Ave., West.)

C. Any street, avenue, way, or pedestrian or vehicular traffic artery beginning and/or ending at some distance from the division line (or zero points) shall have premises located thereon numbered to correspond with the general numbering system; for example, First Street premises shall be numbered from 200 to 299 between Union Street and View Street.
