Before the sale of borough land, the assessor or land manager shall place a display advertisement in a newspaper of general circulation and/or post the advertisement in at least three public places within the borough at least 30 days prior to the sale. The display advertisement shall contain a general description of the types and locations of the parcels available, the terms and conditions of purchase, the last day upon which a person may register for the sale, the date and place the sale will be conducted, and the name, address, and telephone number of the person or office to contact for registration or for further information.
