Any person using the harbor crane owned by the Haines Borough must have first either purchased an annual crane use permit from the harbormaster or paid a daily fee according to the most current assembly approved harbor fee schedule. Prior to use, fees shall be paid and all persons will receive information on how to properly operate the crane. Crane users will certify, on a form provided by the borough, that they can operate the crane properly and that the Haines Borough is held harmless for any improper or unauthorized use.
