A. Eligible employees shall accrue 40 hours of executive leave per year from the date they entered the position without regard to probationary status, subject to subsection (C) of this section.

B. Executive leave accrued but not used shall accumulate to a maximum of 80 hours.

C. In the event an employee subject to this section fails to pass the required probationary period of employment in the appropriate position status, executive leave shall be deemed unearned.

D. Executive leave accrued but not used upon termination of employment shall be canceled without payment of same. (Ord. 15-07-417 § 8)
